You've got to be kidding. Everyone in Japan reads their
news from about 3 or 4 newspapers, and watches about 4
TV stations (mainly). That's the entire country... the
mass media is much more homogeneous than the U.S. when it
comes to variety of opionion or sources.

=> American (or English-language) movies. on Japanese TV you

=> languages (subtitled or bilingual).
Get cable. There are a few Spanish language channels around,
and "The International Channel" carries films and news from
other countries. There are also foreign films on local
outlets from time to time. Bravo carries many Japanese
films - subtitled not dubbed.

=> and the TIME magazine, entertain themselves watching James
