The profile didn't remind the sheriff of anyone, but he promised to circulate it among his deputies. Maybe one of them would recognize some detail. Scully had to listen to a repeat of his staunch belief that this couldn't be someone local; no one in these parts even sounded remotely similar to this profile. Finally she sent the sheriff off to spread the word and set his deputies to watching the areas Mulder seemed to feel were most likely spots for the night's activities.
