Society is challenged by the dramatic changes through the extensive growth of electronic communication- and information-management systems. This concern not only the cultural field but every aspect of society.
This brings about chances and dangers which can only be confronted through active participation in the design of electronic networks and the development of nonlinear models of realities as pioneered by some of the more adventurous artists of our time. (Konrad Becker)
