Along with another active FAC (Feminists Against Censorship) member, Cherie Matrix (stage named Cherry Cakemix) formed Dragon Ladies in the spring of 1995. They have organised and produced their own vaudevillian revues exploring the issues of sexual politics by examining feamel rudeness on stage.

Matrix has modeled for well known photographers, appearing in many body art and manipulation publications. She does subscribe to the western beauty myth that "blondes have more fun", but also believes there are more beautiful, pagan and primitive ways to enhance the body.
